Testing in clinical setting:

‘’Clinical testing also the clinical trial is a rigorously controlled test of new invasive medical device on human subjects.’’ For example: It involve new drugs, medical devices, biological, vaccines, surgical and other medical treatments and procedures.

Importance of testing in clinical setting:

Psychological tests enable mental health professionals to make diagnoses more reliability, validity and quickly in clinical setting.

·         This allows the clinician to flow on the appropriate treatment more than saving time and money. Also help the clinician monitor the effectiveness of treatment.

·         These tests diagnose a person and use to monitor a person response to medications, which are used increasingly in treating a number of disorders including, depression, schizophrenia and attention deficit disorder in children.

·         Clinical tests are used in to diagnose neurological illness.

·         These are also helpful in (CTS) computerized tomography Scan and (MRTS) for monitoring patients over long periods of recovery or rehabilitation.

·         Testing procedures plays a vital role in clinician setting.

Application in Clinician Setting:

·         These tests are applicable for those who are under observation, the psychologists measuring patients Motor skills and mental aptitudes.

·         Teats used for the cognitive ability.

·          Psychologists use tests and other assessment tools to measures and observe a Clients Behavior to diagnose and guide treatment.

·         These test and assessments allow psychologist to understand the nature of the problem and to figure out in the best way, like to treat; (ADHD) attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

·         Also, application to often used to monitors a person response to medication which are used in treating a number of disorders.

Testing used in clinical setting:

1.      Cognitive Test

2.      Forensic Psychological Test

3.      Neuropsychological Test

Interpretation of psychological test could be occur.

Main purpose for conducting tests and assessments for clinician setting:

·         Prognosis

·         Treatment planning

Clinical test and assessment is used to promote and enhance children’s well-being by accomplishing effective solutions to the problems they are faced.

LIMITATION:

·         Some limitations occur is clinical setting in their restriction to interventions that are supposed to have positive effect.

·         Another limit is related to the difficulty to interpret or generalize the results because; Situated population is very different from the population treated in normal life.
